Oct 10, 2024 – London / NEOIX.AI’s 30MW data center development in Wünsdorf, Brandenburg, has received preliminary approval as part of Germany’s push toward sustainable digital infrastructure. Located within the strategic Berlin-Brandenburg technology corridor, the facility will serve as a testbed for advanced cooling technologies and renewable energy integration.
“Germany remains at the heart of European digital transformation, and our Wünsdorf facility will demonstrate how next-generation data centers can exceed the country’s rigorous sustainability standards while supporting critical AI and quantum computing research,” said Hari Slipicevic, CEO of NEOIX. The project incorporates waste heat utilization systems that will supply neighboring developments with clean heating, advanced geothermal integration, and direct connections to regional renewable energy sources. Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2025, with the facility designed to achieve compliance with Germany’s upcoming 2026 energy efficiency regulations well ahead of the mandate.
